The Canine Behaviour, Rehabilitation and Training School offers a wide range of services catering for pet dogs and their owners – from puppy training classes to the rehabilitation of aggressive dogs.

We are based in the North West and cover Cheshire, Wirral and surrounding areas. We have training venues in Frodsham, Runcorn and Burton (South Wirral). We are a Kennel Club listed status dog training club for both the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and for KC Rally.

MEET THE TEAM

K9BRATS is run by Kate Reevell BSc. (HONS), MSc. CABC, CCAB

With over 15 years experience in dog training and behaviour, Kate holds a range of academic and practical qualifications. These include an Honours Degree in Human Psychology and a Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. She is also a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and The Canine Behaviour and Training Society (TCBTS). Kate was also a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor in both Companion Dog Training and Behaviour, both to the advanced level, until recently when the scheme became devalued. Kate is a visiting lecturer on the Animal Behaviour and Welfare courses at Harper Adams University and provides talks and seminars on canine behaviour and training across the UK.

and Karen Ingram BSc. (HONS).

Karen has 15 years experience working with dogs in a range of roles, from veterinary care to rescue – working for a number of years at the RSPCA Halewood Centre. Karen holds an Honours Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and a BTEC first and National Diploma in Animal Care. Karen is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (mAPDT – 00994) and the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). She is also a qualified ‘Puppy School’ tutor (established by renowned behaviourist and fellow APBC member Gwen Bailey) and an Agility Club Approved Instructor.

Claire has been training for nearly 8 years and is a qualified Puppy School Tutor and an Agility Club Approved Instructor. Claire has experience in a range of dog training disciplines including agility, flyball, KC good citizen and obedience to music. She is at present competing in agility at grade 4 and has previously competed in flyball alongside running her own flyball training club. Claire has completed various practical dog training/handling courses and is also a UK Agility judge.

Upcoming Events

K9BRATS & Sutton Weavers Agility Club Summer Shows 2017 @ Sutton Farm:
Friday 9th – Sunday 11th June
A 3 day UKAgility show with a KC Rally Trial on the Sunday PLUS camping all weekend and evening entertainment Friday and Saturday in the Clubhouse.
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th August
An independent agility show on the Saturday with a ‘Reward in the Ring’ Rally competition and a KC Rally Trial and KC Companion Show on the Sunday PLUS ‘Have a go’ rings, trade stands and much more.
