The Canine Behaviour, Rehabilitation and Training School offers modern and ethical approach to teaching dogs and their humans grounded in the most up to date scientific understanding of canine training and behaviour. We provide a wide range of services catering for pet dogs and their owners – from puppy training to the rehabilitation of aggressive dogs.

Based in the North West and cover Cheshire, Wirral and surrounding areas, we use three training venues in Frodsham, Runcorn and Burton (South Wirral). We are a Kennel Club listed status dog training club for both the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and for KC Rally.

We have a wonderful team of experienced and professional trainers lead by two qualified Clinical Animal Behaviourists registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council:-

MEET THE TEAM

Kate Reevell BSc. (HONS), MSc. CABC, CCAB

With 20 years experience in dog training and behaviour, Kate holds a range of academic and practical qualifications. These include an Honours Degree in Human Psychology and a Masters Degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. She is also a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and The Canine Behaviour and Training Society (TCBTS). Kate is a lecturer on the Animal Behaviour and Welfare courses at Harper Adams University and provides talks and seminars on canine behaviour and training across the UK.

Kate is a also KC Rally Judge and has competed in Rally Obedience but her special interest (from her MSc research) is in puppy development and promoting the best ways to teach puppies how to be well balanced and problem free pet dogs.

Karen Ingram BSc. (HONS).

Karen has more than 15 years experience working with dogs in a range of roles, from veterinary care to rescue – working for a number of years at the RSPCA Halewood Centre. Karen holds an Honours Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and a BTEC first and National Diploma in Animal Care. Karen is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (mAPDT – 00994) and the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC).

Karen also has a passion for agility and is an Agility Club Approved Instructor as well as a UKAgility Judge.

Agility Trainer and office manager Claire Gratrix

Claire has been training for nearly 10 years and is a also an Agility Club Approved Instructor and UkAgility Judge. Claire has experience in a range of dog training disciplines including agility, flyball, and KC good citizen. She has previously competed in flyball alongside running her own flyball training club and currently competes in agility. Claire has completed various practical dog training/handling courses and is also a UK Agility judge.

Julie has a lifetime of experience in the dog world from breeding to competing in various disciplines. Among her many achievements she is a KC Rally competitor and Judge.

Sophie is a wonderful young agility handler and is currently studying for a degree in Canine Behaviour and Training at Reasheath

K9BRATS & Sutton Weavers Agility Club Summer Shows 2018 @ Sutton Farm:
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th June AND Friday 17th – Sunday 19th August
A 3 day UKAgility show with a ‘Treat and Train’ unaffiliated Rally Trial on the Saturday followed by a KC Rally Trial on the Sunday PLUS camping all weekend and evening entertainment Saturday night in the Clubhouse. Plus Have a go areas, trade stands and much more.
